When she was 5yo my oldest daughter named my blog with the simple wisdom that she knew how much I love quilting and it makes me happy. I am mumma to two young girls in Brisbane, Australia. I started quiltmaking in May 2009. I love sewing for loved ones, fabric, our beaglier puppy Lola, birth, babies & midwives, Facebook, my Thermomix, Blythes, Ancestry.com and chocolate.
{this moment} - A Friday ritual. A single photo - no words - capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember. - via soulemama.
Hi Melissa - I love your Friday photo from today. How can something as simple and everyday as two almost empty cups of tea looks so sacred and beautiful?
Hope to see you at Jo's on Sat. Want to ask you about making placemats ie did you make those recent ones "right side together" and then turn them over? Do they have quilting batting inside? What happens when they need a wash from food stains?
Cheers x
